The original name of the film, translated into Turkish as the Far End of the World, is The Far Side of the World. The movie, which was released in 2003, is 138 minutes. It was directed by Peter Weir. Its screenwriters are Peter Weir and John Collee. Legendary actress Russel Crowe was featured in this movie. He also appeared on the cast with Paul Bettany, Billy Boyd, James D’Arcy, and Edward Woodall. 

Summary of the Far End of the World Movie 

Napoleonic wars continue in May 1905. Jack Aubrey, who serves as a captain, is given a task to do with his ship. It is the duty of burning and sinking Acheron with the French warship named Surprise. Also, those onboard must be captured. The British warship is ambushed by Acheron. The surprise moves into the ball. However, ball shots do not affect Acheron. A surprise will be severely damaged. Benefiting from the fog that came out during the conflict, the team of Surprise manages to bypass Acheron on small boats. 

As this whole process continues, he hears that he has seen the construction of Acheron from the crew of Aubrey, Captain. According to those who see it, he says that Acheron is heavier than surprise but faster than him. With these sages, Aubrey meets with senior officers. 

He holds meetings and tells them about Acheron. He tells that the ship built in this way will change the course of the war by Napoleon. Everyone waits for the order to return to the port to repair the damaged ship. However, Aubrey orders to go after Acheron again. However, they are ambushed again. This time, getting rid of it will not be as easy as the previous one. Using his intelligence, Aubrey manages to recover with various tricks.

Maturin, a ship doctor of the period, deals with natural vegetation and animals on the islands. Aubrey tells her colleagues that they can do the review they want for several days when they arrive at Galápagos. When Galápagos is reached, the survivors are encountered from a ship sunk by Acheron. Acheron is after him again. Maturin is hit by accident when the distance between them is close. They have to return. 

The Far End of the World movie continues with Captain Aubrey giving up his crew and allowing his team to explore the island. As a result of various investigations, they ambush Acheron again. Acheron is captured as a result of a violent collision.
